Adults Connect (18+)

Adults Connect is a transformative program designed for adults ages 18 and over who are children of incarcerated parents. This program provides a therapeutic space where these individuals can connect with others who have faced similar challenges and work through their complex emotions related to their parent’s incarceration. Facilitated by a team of experienced Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), and Psychologists, Adult Pathways focuses on supporting emotional healing and personal growth.

Participants in Adults Connect engage in a variety of therapeutic activities and group discussions aimed at exploring and addressing the deep-seated feelings and experiences associated with their past. The program offers workshops on emotional regulation, resilience building, and personal development. Through these sessions, participants gain valuable insights into their emotional struggles, develop effective coping strategies, and work towards overcoming the impact of their family situation.

The program fosters a sense of community by bringing together adults who share similar experiences, allowing them to build connections and support networks. This peer support system helps reduce feelings of isolation and provides a space for individuals to share their stories, gain perspective, and find solidarity.

In addition to benefiting participants, Adults Connect provides guidance to help individuals better navigate their relationships and personal challenges. The program aims to empower adults to address their past traumas, develop self-awareness, and foster a healthier emotional outlook.

By participating in Adults Connect, individuals gain access to professional support and a supportive community, facilitating emotional healing and personal growth. This program helps adults move forward with greater resilience and confidence, turning their experiences into a foundation for a positive and fulfilling future.
